Have Your Say: Help Shape the Future of Diabetes Care in Knowsley
Patients in Knowsley living with diabetes are being invited to take part in a survey as part of the North Merseyside Community Diabetes Service Review. This project, led by NHS Cheshire & Merseyside, aims to enhance the quality of diabetes care across Liverpool, Sefton, and Knowsley.
What is the project about?
The review is focused on understanding how diabetes services currently operate and identifying ways to improve care for patients. To achieve this, the project will:
- Analyse patient data to assess diabetes management and pinpoint areas that need improvement.
- Engage with healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses to understand challenges and explore solutions.
- Develop better care pathways based on insights gathered to ensure patients receive the best possible support.
How will this benefit you?
The aim is to create a system that provides:
- Improved access to treatment and consistent care across different healthcare settings.
- More equitable services, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality diabetes care, regardless of where they live.
Your voice matters!
Your experiences and feedback are invaluable in shaping the future of diabetes care. Patients are encouraged to take part in a short questionnaire to share their views and help influence positive changes in the service.
The survey covers all types of diabetes, including Type 1 and Type 2, with specific questions on remission and medication for broader context.
By participating, you will contribute to meaningful improvements in diabetes care that will benefit both you and the wider community.
